World Youth Choir | Audition in Indonesia, Bandung - INDONESIA
Information about the 2025 session
We are excited to announce the 2025 World Youth Choir Summer Session, taking place from July 13 (arrival day) to August 1 (departure day), 2025.
The choir will be performing under the internationally acclaimed conductor Daniel Reuss (Capella Amsterdam, RIAS Kammerchor, Ensemble Vocal de Lausanne).
The program will feature works by composers from across Europe, including Vaughan Williams, Vasks, Schönberg, Schnittke, and Martin, along with traditional repertoire and a world premiere.
Hosted by the Federació Catalana d’Entitats Corals (FCEC), the session will include a rehearsal period in Catalonia and a concert tour through Spain, with performances in cities such as Barcelona, Madrid, and Alcalá de Henares, as well as a performance at Festival de Prades Pablo Casals and an appearance at the Choralies Festival in Vaison-la-Romaine, in France.
The choir will consist of 64 talented young singers, aged 17 to 26, from around the world, who are passionate about advancing their choral skills. These singers, all of whom are experienced in high-level choral singing or solo performance, will be selected through an audition process judged by an international jury.
Each WYC session strives to create a world-class ensemble, with a well-balanced mix of voices and a broad representation of geographic backgrounds.
